Originally a Bucks boy Mike was brought into the blues fold early at the open mic's and jam sessions of High Wycombe. His playing style inspired by legends like Eric Clapton, Stevie-Ray Vaughn, and Jimi Hendrix combined with years of honing his own style and passion for all things blues lead him to form The Blue Rose band.

An accomplished pianist, Helen's music career started at an early age before being tempted into the dark art of bass playing a few years ago. As well as grooving bass lines, Helen provides The Blue Rose with powerful yet soulful vocals influenced by the likes of Beth Hart, Samantha Fish and Layla Zoe.

Kevin is the absolute beating heart of the band keeping us all in check and making sure we don't run off at lightning pace! Kevin is an enthusiastic semi-pro drummer and percussionist, and a radio DJ. Currently in 2 gigging bands, he likes jazz, latin, blues and prog rock
